From Amazon:

It was really amazing ! Amazon Web Services (AWS), the Amazon’s Cloud Computing business "revenue rise 78% to $2.1 billion " in last quarter. AWS made up only 8% of Amazon’s revenue last quarter, but it made up 52% of its operating profit !

So, should we call Amazon a Cloud service provider or a e-commercial company ? I personally think Amazon will be a Cloud services provider soon later.

From Microsoft:

· Revenue in Intelligent Cloud grew 8% (up 14% in constant currency) to $5.9 billion · Office 365 revenue growth of nearly 70% in constant currency and continued user growth across our productivity offerings; Office 365 consumer subscribers increased to 18.2 million, with approximately 3 million subscribers added in the quarter · Dynamics CRM Online enterprise installed base growing more than 3x year-over-year

Google did not provide details revenue number for its cloud service. Comparing with Microsoft and Amazon, Google’s cloud might be smaller but Google’s leaders mentioned Google’s related Cloud products were drivers of year-over-year growth.

From Alibaba (The e-commercial giant in the world from China)

"…Growth of our cloud computing and Internet infrastructure business accelerated, with revenue increasing 128% year-over-year to RMB649 million (US$102 million);… "

Here I only provides above 4 companies fiscal data, if you have time you can check more businesses yourself.

Now you know all of us are just in a fast-growing Cloud Storm right now. Do you want to climb up the Cloud now or still just watch ?
